The printing of Hoyuk was recently completed and all the components look fine. We were expecting some pictures from the factory so you can see how the game looks for real. The pictures are not the best quality, so I asked from them to send a game to us so we can take photos from each part with details.
GAME BOARD
Now we wait the other factory to complete the meeples production. Due to the custom shape, they have delayed to deliver them on time. That's ok, we know from previous productions that something like that would happen. Thankfully, they will deliver the meeples next week. As soon as this is done, our manufacturer will complete Hoyuk and finally shrink wrap the boxed game.
CONSTRUCTION CARDBOARDS
On the other hand, we delayed to confirm the wooden meeples too. Why is that? When we received the white sample, everything was looking so good even the wooden discs but the meeples were looking strange, they were very thin like empty wood or something. It took us about an additional week until the manufacturer make them as we wanted them. Every detail in a game plays significant role.
We were calculating that the ships would leave China about now, these days. As I know, the ships will leave between 8-15 August depending on the paper work. This is something we always handle and we do not find any problems. I think the delay would be a month from what we were calculating. However the people who live in Asia and Australia will get the game first. Why? Because for these destinations we ship from Hong Kong with courier. We do not need to use a ship. The games will leave directly from our manufacturer and that saves a lot of time.
RULEBOOKS
One ship will leave from China with destination Europe, Germany and the other ship will go to US, New York and from there to the warehouse of our distributor. I don't know why but always at the port of New York there is a delay for nothing. Even last year and while all the papers were ok, there was a delay but that was a unexpected factor... bad weather. I hope this time be different. We are ready regarding all the orders and the packing lists so there will be no delay from our part. The other good news is that we have a good shipper in USA who arrange the customs and all these stuff. The people there really do a great job for us.

The designer of the game Pierre Canuel will be there during all the days of the fair and will demo the game. We are in contact with Pierre these days cause we want to prepare a cool expansion for Hoyuk. The expansion is called - Hoyuk: Anatolia. We plan to launch this campaign on January. We really hope you like Hoyuk and support us on that project too.
