WRONG CHEMISTRY on LITTLE METAL DOG SHOW
About the Team
Michael Fox is a podcaster and writer by night, and pretty much the same by day. He is passionate about gaming of all kinds, his favourite games including Battlestar Galactica, Dixit and Power Grid. A total technology geek, he has far too many things with cables sitting underneath his television. As well as The Little Metal Dog Show, he also co-presents Joypod, a weekly podcast that¢s meant to be about video games but always ends up as a torrent of name calling and idiocy. If that sounds like your kind of thing, check it out at www.spong.com/joypod – it¢s actually quite popular. When he doesn¢t have a controller in his hand, he can often be found huddled around a table throwing dice and cards about trying to save the universe.
He is married to his brilliant and talented wife, Steph. She draws comics (and little metal dogs) and can occasionally be seen picking up wooden cubes off the floor, cursing. She is very very tolerant. Together they have a fish called PG who has an aversion to wooden penguins.
Chris Swaffer likes games and has done as far back as he can remember. Board, card, war, tabletop role-play, live-action role-play, computer, console, abstract conceptual: you name it, he¢ll probably play it. Favourites include Ascension, Fury of Dracula, and “anything co-operative without a secret traitor mechanic”, but as the self-confessed games bicycle, he¢ll play anything once, given half the chance. He is particularly fond of role-playing games, and will often attempt to inject a roleplaying element into whatever he is playing at the time, be it Heroquest, Twilight Imperium or Risk.
To fund his gaming habit, Chris works for a large IT company, providing technical support for an evil empire / insurance company. He is married to the splendid Daisy, who is wonderful, organised, and also likes games: truly a match made in heaven. They got married in a castle, which was the very definition of awesome.
