Is been some time since we published Eragra and of course we understand that the game must be fixed up to some point. Is been 2 years since our visit in Essen with the specific game and since we published some other games, so there was no time to fix Eragra until now. It took a lot of time and it was hard for us to make some changed but we decided to make the game more understandable by applying a number of changes. We will submit a new entry for the game as new gamer since we didn't change few rules or remade it, is something more than that. As we see we will launch Eragra on Kickstarter early 2014 probably January or February. Let's see what will be different in this game:
ANCIENT WORLD
Grim and Mastery Stack: Now is a Unified Deck and instead of 100 now is 30 cards and it acts as Event Deck for all the players. The effects are still unique but this time will be simplified! You draw a card per turn and the Event Cards affect everyone sometimes good sometimes bad.
Parchments: Stay as they are with 1-2 simple and easy modifications. The major change here is that instead of 60 cards, now is 30 cards.
The Tokens are out of the game since the improved effects do not require Tokens.
Each player has a small board to place the Minions. Now instead of 5 Minions you place 3 Minions. You board has 3 areas. Aqua, Air and Terra Area and you place there your Minions based on their Natural Origin. The Immaterial Minions can be placed on any of the 3 Areas of your Board.
The Rejuvanation State is no longer valid.
Limbo, Craft Pool and the Way the Incantations work stat as they are. Your deck is now smaller by 20 cards. Now you handle just 40 cards. You can add cards only if you want.
The Walls become one common Card League with Ploys Ad Hoc having simpler effects. The way they work stay the same.
Now you use all three dice in each turn and the battle and the effects of the dice are easier since you can choose wisely the result from each battle.
From the Calibers the Animal Tamers are no longer valid.
The sacrifice symbols are no longer valid. Each deck retains the color symbols (red, blue, green, yellow) only this time will be bigger so you can tell them apart.
We use smaller Crystals in the game and there is no need to use wooden cubes for the matter of the permanent effects.
FUTURE WORLD
Each Machine of Future Survivor can take only 1 Cardition.
The Forces have lower numbers (1-5) to make easier the calculations.
In the Cyberspace Area you are no longer move cards but Miniatures, up to 3 Miniatures since you can activate max. 2 Machines + your Survivor. You still activate the Machines using Crystals but there no longer wooden cubes for permanent effects.
The cards will have a better look now and simpler effects.
The Crystal sign on the cards will be clearer as well as the color of the deck of each player.
The "Size of the Viruses" is no longer applied.
Vehicles and Weapons become a Common Deck and now are square cards who fit perfectly under the Machine Cards and you can see both cards' effects without trouble.
These are just some of the changes of the game but now we can promise that you will be able to play easier, better, faster and it will be much more interested.
