Hello, my name is Cameron Crawford, owner and manager of Petrie's Family Games in Colorado Springs, Colorado. We are a family run store with the mission of supporting the gaming industry hobby as a means to bring people closer together in an electronic age where such opportunities can be scarce.
Each year my team helps organize the gaming and game vendor area for the massive and popular StarFest Science Fiction/Multimedia Convention in Denver, Colorado. StarFest is one of the longest running fan-produced conventions in the state, attracting big-name stars and thousands of visitors every year. The 2014 Star Fest will be held on May 2-4 and promises to be as big as it has always been. The GameFest sub-Con is the featured activity in one of two co-located hotels hosting StarFest. GameFest activities include around-the-clock scheduled and open board gaming, role-playing games, contests, and space for vendors. We're also hoping to expand the presence of parts manufacturers and other industry insiders for budding game designers or hobbyists wishing to customize their collections.
Last year, attendance exceeded expectations with an excess of 15K people attending. This year we invite MAGE Company in this great event. 12 Realms, Expand Your Lab, Wrong Chemistry and several expansions will be on the table! Some of you will be lucky and win some of the games of MAGE Company.
